🧩 SEGA Leak: Sonic Adventure 2 Prototype Web Trail
After the Nintendo Gigaleak, it was only a matter of time. This dump comes from an unverified dev FTP server, possibly mirrored from a late-stage Dreamcast debug terminal. The focus? A now-defunct build of Sonic Adventure 2 and some strange behavior surrounding its dev cycle.
While we’re still picking through broken HTML fragments and corrupted Dreamcast test interfaces, three notable paths have already emerged from the mess. Each seems to originate from the same dev folder. I’ve mirrored them through Archivit — be warned, they’re fragile.
A resurfaced March 2001 blog entry. It mentions an unusual AI test being run in SA2 builds — “Sleep Mode” — and Shadow being the centerpiece. It’s subtle, but the language reads oddly... off.
This was supposedly a Dreamcast browser test page for SegaNet. Most of it is static... until the text starts acting weird. It doesn’t crash — it changes.
Dev logs, internal email dumps, and an official memo scrapping the AI initiative altogether. The name “Iwakura” appears repeatedly — no dev ID matches it.
All material here is mirrored for historical purposes. If you worked at SEGA R&D in 2000–2001 and want this removed, good luck finding me.
There’s more here than cut content. There’s something personal in these files. If anyone has mirrors of TRIAL-04 or anything with the "shadow_ai" string intact, DM me directly.
